Plant Pictured: Burros Tail/Donkey Tail

Light
Very bright light indoors. Several hours of gentle direct sun keep growth dense. Low light = stretched, sparse stems.

Water
Let soil dry fully between waterings. Water every 2–4 weeks, depending on light/season - less in winter.

Humidity & Temperature
Low to average humidity is best. 60–85°F

Soil & Fertilizing
fast-draining cactus/succulent mix (add extra pumice/perlite). Fertilize lightly 1–2× in spring or summer. No fertilizer in winter.

Pet Safety

 Non-toxic to pets.

Native Region
Cliff faces of southern Mexico (Veracruz, Hidalgo).

Fun Fact
Each bead is a water storehouse. Stems are extremely fragile, so plan handling and repotting with towels or trays to catch fallen leaves for propagation.
